This role focuses on the efficient and effective resolution of incidents and service requests, as well as fostering ongoing enhancements to the Service Desk function, with a particular emphasis on physical support.
- Identifying faults with desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals is part of troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Setting up and configuring the onboarding users’ gear and software: Office IT support staff are in charge of installing software, configuring new equipment, and making sure everything is set up properly at their designated desk.
- Wi-Fi and server room, IDF, and hardware maintenance are examples of network and server infrastructure maintenance.
- Inventory control: Keep office supplies organized and prepared for audits.
- Vendor Management: Oversee local suppliers, order and equipment tracking, and delivery.
- Control your ISP: Oversee: Oversee local ISP and associated services (i.e., purchasing mobile, internet, billing, activating data packages, terminating, and maintaining inventory).
- Meeting room support: Help customers with any problems relating to the office’s meeting rooms, lounge, and music connection. Keep the items high-quality and, if necessary, engage suppliers.
- Hotel Support: In addition to helping GSS with continuous improvement, the IT specialist is in charge of providing technical support for hotels in the area or nation, offering the best customer service, maintaining accurate documentation, resolving tickets with the highest CSAT, and playing a crucial part in teamwork.
Qualifications:
- You must have 3 years working experience at the minimum
- You must have worked in the hotel industry
- ITIL framework-based Process Management
- IT field certified
- Must have expertise in customer service
- Skillful in language communication
- Having a full grasp of what ITIL framework entail
- Capacity to interact with end users and other colleagues at different levels in an efficient manner
